Private beta · for couples and households

Money makes more sense when you see it together.

One shared picture of what's been spent, what's still coming, and what's actually safe to spend — built around your real pay cycles, not the calendar month.

Real screen, synthetic household. Nothing here is a mock-up.

Sound familiar?

Three things almost every household we talk to says out loud.

Timing

"We get paid on different days."

So a budget that starts on the 1st is wrong for both of you by the second week.

Trust

"Did you buy this?"

A charge nobody remembers turns into a conversation neither of you wanted to have.

Upkeep

"The spreadsheet died in March."

One of you stopped filling it in, and now neither of you trusts the total.

Here's how that changes.

Three promises, each with the screen that keeps it.

See it together

One shared ledger with real household roles — invite a partner, and you both see the same picture instead of comparing notes.

Plan around real life

Budgets that start on your actual payday, credit-card cycles modelled as real cycles, and forward cash flow — not a calendar month that doesn't match how you get paid.

Someone will show you around.

Pick whoever sounds most like your house. You'll land in their Snapshot with a year of invented money behind it, and three things worth looking at.

Penny Pretzel paid weekly, alone

“I got paid twice this month. Am I actually ahead?”

Penny’s income lands whenever a client feels like paying. Her cycle starts on the 8th, two of them overlap this month, and July was suspiciously good.

You'll see Her Snapshot, on a cycle that starts on the 8th — not the 1st. The extra payday, and what it does to safe-to-spend. Six cycles side by side, answering “is this month normal?”

Otto Overdraft tight middle of the month

“Payday clears the overdraft, then it starts again.”

Otto isn’t broke — he’s badly timed. Seven bills land in the first ten days, so the middle of every month feels worse than his balance deserves.

You'll see The bills-ahead timeline, bunched into one ugly week. What moving two direct debits by nine days would fix. A guardrail that flags the dip before it happens.

Mabel Mint two incomes, one plan

“We’re fine. I just can’t prove it to him.”

Mabel and Ray are doing well and arguing anyway, because only one of them is holding the whole picture in their head on a Sunday night.

You'll see One shared Snapshot, with both contributions visible. The kitchen goal, and what this month did to it. A fifteen-minute check-in that doesn’t become a row.

Your money data stays yours.

We'd rather claim less and be right. Every line below is something we can show you in the product today.

No bank connection. You bring data in; we never hold your credentials.
Nothing sold, nothing shared with advertisers. Ever.
Export everything, or delete the household outright, from settings.
Private testing, invite-only. No trial, no pricing yet — we'll say so when that changes.

Common Questions

Do I need to connect my bank?

Not yet — Cash/MONEY doesn't connect to your bank today, which also means we never hold your bank login. You enter transactions directly, import a bank statement, or capture a receipt and we read it for you.

Will this work if my income is irregular?

Absolutely. Cash/MONEY is designed for flexibility. You can set your cycle based on when you expect to be paid, or just use a standard monthly view if that suits you better.

Is this for couples/families?

Yes! Cash/MONEY shines when used as a household. You can invite your partner to share the view, so you both know exactly what's happening with the household finances.

How does my data get in, if there's no bank connection?

You add entries directly, import a bank statement, or photograph a receipt and confirm what we read from it. It's more effort than a live bank feed, and it's also the reason there's nothing of yours for us to hold.

What does the private beta cost?

Nothing today. There's no paid plan and no trial clock — just an invite-only beta while we build with the households who join it.

How long is the waitlist?

We review requests by hand, so there's no fixed timeline. We'll email you the moment your household is approved — no need to keep checking back.

See one cycle together. That's usually all it takes.

Open a demo household, or put your name down for the private beta and we'll write when there's room.
