Cash/MONEY Terms of Service
Cash/MONEY is a private beta. By requesting access, signing in, or using the app, you agree to the terms below. We'll update this page as the product changes, and no notice here replaces good judgment with your own financial data.
The beta, plainly
- Access is invitation- or approval-gated. We can pause or revoke access to any account during the beta, including for misuse or abuse of the service.
- Beta software has bugs. Back up anything you can't afford to lose, and don't treat Cash/MONEY as your sole record of your finances while it's in beta.
- Features, pricing, and this agreement may change as the product moves out of beta. We'll do our best to give notice of material changes.
Your account
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your Google account secure.
- If you share a household ledger with family members, they can see the shared data you and they add to it -- that's the point of the feature.
- You can deactivate your account at any time from Settings → Profile, or request full deletion via the contact form -- see our Privacy Policy for details.
Not financial advice
Cash/MONEY helps you track and organize your own financial data. It does not provide investment, tax, or financial advice, and nothing in the app should be taken as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, during the beta period. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cash/MONEY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including data loss -- which is exactly why beta users shouldn't rely on it as a sole record.
